Additional info

Some helpful information about our wedding and reception – we hope it answers any questions you may have.

Ceremony schedule

A short wedding ceremony will take place at 3:30 PM in front of the entrance to the Fort. Please be punctual – if you're late, you might miss it entirely.

After the ceremony, we’ll be receiving well-wishes and taking photos. This may take a little while, as we’re expecting around 180 guests. After that, we’ll head into the Fort, where the reception will begin.

The party will last into the early hours of the morning, so make sure to get a good night’s sleep beforehand! On the day of the wedding, we’ll be supported by our parents, witnesses, and two professional coordinators, whom we’ll introduce to you at the venue.

How do I get there?

There’s not much parking available directly around the Fort, so we encourage using public transport or a taxi.

Nearest public transport stops:
Tram – Muranowska, Park Traugutta
Bus – Konwiktorska, Sanguszki (on Wisłostrada)
Metro – Ratusz Arsenał, Dworzec Gdański

What should I wear?

There’s no dress code – feel free to wear whatever makes you feel good and comfortable. However, we expect most of our guests to dress formally or semi-formally, but don’t feel pressured to do so.

Children at the wedding

Please let us know if you’d like to bring your children. We’re not currently planning any activities for kids, but if you have any questions, requests, or suggestions, don’t hesitate to reach out!

What will the food be like?

All food will be fully vegan – meaning no animal products such as meat, fish, eggs, or dairy.

If you have any additional dietary restrictions, please let us know in the “RSVP” form.

What about gifts?

Your presence is the greatest gift – please don’t feel any pressure to bring us anything.

If you do wish to give us something, please keep in mind that we currently don’t have a home in Poland where we could store larger items, and we move often in the US.

An envelope will be the most practical gift – it will help defray the costs of our dream celebration.

Is this your first time in Warsaw?

EVENTS

Anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising
The day before our wedding, on August 1, 2025, marks the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising (as well as the 33rd wedding anniversary of Tomek’s parents). The commemorations will culminate at 5:00 PM, when cars come to a stop in the streets and air raid sirens sound throughout the city to mark “W” Hour – the symbolic start of the Uprising.
Summer Sundays, 12 & 4 PM
Chopin Concerts
On summer Sundays, free Chopin concerts are held in Łazienki Park, one of the most majestic green spaces in Warsaw – always at 12 PM and 4 PM. A lovely way to unwind after a night of celebration.
